Why exhibit

A day of direct conversations with motivated people.

  • 01

Recruit for paid roles and volunteering together

Promote vacancies, volunteering, placements and trustee opportunities from a single stand, rather than running separate campaigns.

  • 02

Meet people you would never reach online

Talk to candidates who are exploring the sector, changing career or considering volunteering, and judge motivation in person.

  • 03

    Strengthen your employer brand

Tell your story directly to students, career changers and experienced sector professionals who may apply months later.

  • 04

Build a pipeline for future recruitment

Collect interest now so you have people to contact when your next role or volunteering opportunity opens.

  • 05

    Connect with the wider sector

Spend the day alongside other charities, support bodies and community organisations working on the same challenges.

  • 06

    One day, measurable value

A concentrated day of conversations that would take weeks of advertising, screening and outreach to replicate.

Exhibitor feedback

What organisations say about exhibiting

Previous exhibitors have highlighted the quality of conversations, the breadth of people attending and the value of meeting prospective employees and volunteers face-to-face. The feedback below has been gathered from organisations that have participated in previous Charity Careers & Volunteer Job Fairs.

  • Society of St Vincent de Paul logo

This event has been one of the most successful we've attended in terms of the quality and enthusiasm of participants. It's rare to find a recruitment fair where you meet such a perfect cross-section of people interested in both paid and volunteer roles. We've had meaningful conversations with many potential candidates, and it's clear that events like this are vital for connecting with the right talent. We would absolutely recommend it to others and look forward to returning.

  • Autism Initiatives logo

This has been an exceptional experience, and we truly value its focus on the charity sector. The attendees clearly have a passion for helping and making a difference, making it the ideal demographic for us. The event was very well-organised and effectively marketed. We've connected with some outstanding individuals and are excited about what this could mean for our future recruitment. It's an event we would definitely attend again.

  • Inspire logo

Taking part in the Charity Careers & Volunteer Job Fair has been a brilliant opportunity for us to showcase the roles we offer and to really explain what Inspire is about. We had fantastic engagement from enthusiastic people, many of whom were new to the organisation but clearly passionate about working in the charity sector. Because the event is charity-specific, conversations started on a really positive note, and we came away with strong interest from candidates at all stages of their careers. It's been great exposure for Inspire and we would absolutely take part again.

  • Positive Futures logo

This has been a very positive and encouraging event for us, particularly because of the strong interest from people looking to move into the Third Sector or begin their careers as support workers. We've had meaningful conversations about progression, support, and inclusive employment, which are central to who we are as an organisation. The event has also made us think more seriously about how volunteering could create pathways into paid roles. This is our second time attending and we would definitely continue to be involved in future events.
